How to request a Repeat Prescription
You can obtain repeat prescriptions by any of the following methods:
- Via our online form
- In Person – Return the tear-off slip from your prescription, indicating which item(s) you require, or by giving us a clearly written note stating the full name and strength of the medication required, either hand your prescription request into Reception or send it to us by post.
PLEASE NOTE: we can only accept requests for prescriptions over the phone for housebound patients.
Please allow at least three working days for your prescription to be prepared and let us have a stamped addressed envelope if you would like us to post it to you.
If your medication needs to be reviewed by a Clinician, this may take up to one week, before it is issued. By looking at the white section on your prescription you will be able to see if your medication needs review.
Please remember, It is your responsibility to ensure you do not run out of your medication.
If you are housebound, you can request your prescriptions by telephone, we can also arrange for the pharmacy to deliver your prescription if you are unable to have someone to collect it for you. Please advise us if you have a preferred pharmacy.
