Online Booking FAQ

Am I eligible to book appointments online?

You must be a fully registered patient at Paxton Green Group Practice to access online booking. Appointments Online may not be suitable for all patients i.e. those who have special requirements such as Language translator or a chaperone required etc.

 

What appointments are available to book online?

Advance routine doctor appointments are the only appointments available to book online, if you need to see a doctor on the day please attend our Walk and Wait Clinic between 8am and 10am, If you are unable to visit the practice please telephone our Telephone Advice Line between 8am and 10am.

 

What to consider when booking your appointment online.

When booking for example a complicated problem or an interpreter is required you may need more than one appointment (10 minute session) so please contact the practice so we are able to make special arrangements for your consultation i.e. give you a double appointment (20 minute session). The appointments that are available to book online are also not suited for the purpose of medicals i.e. for insurance purposes. If in doubt when booking your appointment online please contact the practice.

How do I sign up?

You will need to visit the practice where a receptionist will take you through the sign up process.

 

I have forgotten my password?

Due to security you will need to visit the practice and speak to a receptionist who will confirm your identity then reset your password for you.

 

How many appointments can I book?

At any time you can reserve two separate online appointments i.e one problem per appointment. If you need more than two appointments, or longer than 10 minutes per session please contact the practice.

Why can I not see any appointments for today?

Online appointments are advance pre-bookable only. If you need to see a doctor on the day please attend our Walk and Wait Clinic between 8am and 10am, if you are unable to visit the practice please telephone our Telephone Advice Line between 8am and 10am.

 

Can I cancel my appointment online?

Yes, you can do this by logging in the same way that you do to book an appointment online.

 

How far ahead can I book an appointment?

We release appointments in 4 week blocks, on a daily basis.

 

I cannot see any appointments available?

This means there are currently no appointments available to book, but please check regularly as appointments are released on a daily basis.  If your request is urgent please contact the practice in the usual way.
